My long career (over 25 years) has involved many different aspects within the world of dogs.

From obedience training and judging to dealing with complex behavioural disorders and remedial training. My expertise encompasses everything from puppies to canine geriatrics, whatever the breed or size.

I am often asked to help in the training of dogs that have hearing and sight difficulties.

I run courses for professional dog walkers in accordance with my book "The Complete Guide For Dog Walkers"..

I welcome any time spent working with puppies as well as offering advice on how to choose a suitable puppy, breeder, etc. 

On my first visit/consultation to your home I will structure a personalised plan for all new owners, advising them on how to socialise, educate and bring up their new dog. (These are held firstly in the house and then outside.)

A large proportion of my work is dealing with problems, including subjects like separation anxiety, aggression and, of course, remedial training,

My career has involved working at various rescue centres where my duties included corrective training to enable dogs, who were initially unsuitable, to be re-homed.

Prior to this I was Chief Dog Handler, in charge of employing and overseeing personnel and the training of guard dogs at the biggest dog security company in the UK.

My advice on dogs is sought as far apart as breeders in Europe and animal-related magazines in America.

In 1992 I spent 10 weeks as a dog expert on a UK tour with the ‘Come Alive’ Magazine Show, sponsored by the Daily Express. My role was 2 x 1 hour slots a day, 5 days a week, where I spoke to the public about the rudiments of pet care and the handling and training of companion dogs.   I demonstrated these techniques with my much loved Border Collie, Spooks.

One of my main interests, apart from dogs, is wolves. When time allowed I liked to spend it as a handler at the UK Wolf Conservation Trust in Berkshire. I still visits when time allows.
